Before Installing

Before installing CSense 2024, ensure that the following requirements are met:

Ensure that your environment meets the minimum hardware and software requirements for Proficy CSense.

NOTE: The CSense installer must be run from your machine's local drive. Installing CSense from a network drive or network folder is not supported.
The Windows accounts you specify for the CSense Services must have the Log On as a Service right on the local machine.
Consider disabling virus-checking software and Internet security applications on your system for the duration of the installation process. These applications may impact on the installation process or cause it to appear unresponsive.
